About Me
My background
I was born on an Indian Reservation in Arizona, but spent most of my younger years in Oklahoma. I moved to Del Valle with my family when I was a Junior in High School. I graduated from Del Valle High School and attended 2 years of college at ACC in Austin. I started my Law Enforcement career in 1992. I worked the majority of my Law Enforcement career at the Austin Police Department.
We bought a ranch outside of Giddings, where my family raised and showed Miniature Donkeys. Working in Fayette County, I quickly realized that it "felt like home." After living in Lee County for 27 years, we decided to sell and move to Fayette County in 2022. Once established at our ranch in the High Hill area, we added a small herd of Miniature Cattle.
My passions are animals and firearms. I own a Firearms Training Business called Guns and Glitz. I have trained thousands of people since starting in 2012. I teach beginner shooting classes, License To Carry classes for DPS and I'm also a Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor.
